Lush Canada Select Stores NOW Open Reopening Soon Update in Response to Coronavirus COVID-19 - Glossense

Attention all Lushies: Select Lush stores are now open! 🙂

“We’re starting to open up our stores again and we can’t wait to welcome you back through the fragrant doors of your local Lush. We know you’ve missed the friendly faces of our staff and they’ve missed you, too. 

When it comes to which stores we’re opening and why, safety is our main concern right now. That means we’re opening slowly, mindfully and on a case-by-case basis. And, when we do open, things will look a little different (more on that below). But, because not all stores are open just yet, be sure to check our Store Re-openings page below to see when your local Lush is ready to go.”

In due time, Lush’s “aim is to open each store mindfully, safely and on a case-by-case basis with the goal to resume operations in all locations by early July.” 🙂

Additionally, to ensure everyone’s safety, please note the following in-store measures that Lush has put in place, and what you can expect:

  • PHYSICAL DISTANCING
    • A limited number of customers will be allowed in at a time.
    • All customers are asked to maintain 6 feet or “a bathtub’s distance” between yourself and others.
    • Look for floor markers within stores to maintain a safe social distance.
  • SANITATION
    • A hand-washing station will be made available; Customers are asked to use it upon entering and leaving stores.
    • All stores will be regularly cleaned and sanitized, including tills, the payment area and other high-touch surfaces.
  • SAFETY (In addition to the above)
    • Customers are asked to wear a protective mask upon entering stores.
    • All staff will be wearing face coverings.
    • Physical distancing working practises will be implemented.
    • “If you’re not comfortable grabbing a naked product, [a staff member] can get one from the back for you if [they] have extra stock.”
  • PAYMENT
    • At this time, contactless payment is only being accepted.
  • DEMOS & TESTERS
    • All testers have been removed from the shop floor, but Lush is happy to make you a sample of anything you’d like to try.
    • Hands-on demos have been temporarily suspended.
    • Lush is offering consultation calls with one of their shop managers to answer your questions about hair, skin and bodycare needs. Call to book.
    • “Any questions on products, routines or how to safely shop in our stores, please ask: [Staff are] still here to help from a distance.”

Kiehl's Canada Select Stores NOW Open Reopening Soon Update in Response to Coronavirus COVID-19 - Glossense

Select Kiehl’s stores are now open! 🙂

Currently, select stores within Alberta, Manitoba, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, have re-opened their doors to customers – and more will soon follow suit.

Additionally, to ensure everyone’s safety, please note the following in-store measures that Kiehl’s Canada has put in place, and what you can expect:

  • Store hours will be reduced.
  • A limited number of customers will be allowed in at a time.
  • All customers are asked to maintain 6 feet between yourself and others.
  • “Stores will continue to be cleaned and sanitized every two hours, at a minimum.”
  • Store team members are “required to wear a facemask and gloves at all times: when engaging with customers, or delivering your favourite Kiehl’s products to your car during a curbside delivery service!”
  • “Federal and local health guidelines will be followed, avoiding all physical contact with customers, carriers and vendors.”
  • Expert skincare services have been temporarily suspended and their teams have been trained to provide a new skincare consultation “contactless” method.

Anthropologie Canada Select Stores NOW Open Update in Response to Coronavirus COVID-19 - Glossense

Select Anthropologie stores are now open! 🙂

You can now shop in-store at the following Canadian Anthropologie locations:

  • West Edmonton Mall

  • Downtown Montreal
  • Chinook Centre
  • Granville St.
  • Polo Park
  • Park Royal Shopping Center

These Canadian Anthropologie locations remain temporarily closed:

  • Shops at Don Mills
  • Downtown Oakville
  • Yorkville Ave
  • Quartier DIX30
  • Queen St.
  • Rideau Centre

Additionally, to ensure everyone’s safety, please note the following in-store measures that Anthropologie has put in place, and what you can expect:

  • PHYSICAL DISTANCING
    • A limited number of customers will be allowed in at a time.
      • Note: You may have to wait outside the store at designated locations.
    • All customers are asked to maintain 6 feet between yourself and others.
    • Look for floor markers within stores to maintain a safe social distance.
    • Staff at registers will be reduced to every second register.
  • SANITATION
    • Hand sanitizer stations will be made available to customers throughout the stores.
    • Enhanced cleaning protocols:
      • All stores will be regularly cleaned to CDC standards, including frequent disinfecting of high-touch surfaces (such as door handles, light switches, elevator buttons, PIN pads, etc.).
    • Store hours will be reduced.
  • SAFETY (In addition to the above)
    • Customers are asked to wear a protective mask upon entering stores.
    • All staff are required to wear masks and will be provided gloves if they prefer.
    • Plexiglass shields will be present at cash registers.
    • Physical distancing working practises will be implemented.
    • Wellness checks will be conducted for all staff.
    • STAY HOME if you’re symptomatic:
      • If you have a fever, cough, or have been around anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 14 days.
  • CASHLESS PAYMENT
    • At this time, cash will not be accepted (except where required by law).
    • All customers are asked to use debit or credit.
    • Curbside Pickup will be available at select stores.
  • FITTING ROOMS / CHANGE ROOMS
    • Fitting room procedures, to permit social distancing and avoid physical contact, has been revised.
    • Fitting rooms will be cleaned between each use.

Additionally, to ensure everyone’s safety, please note the following in-store measures that Holt Renfrew has put in place, and what you can expect:

Housekeeping:

  1. Pre-opening deep clean
  2. Increased sanitization of all high touch areas, including door handles, elevator buttons, fitting rooms, and restrooms
  3. Additional Porter staff in-store for guidance and assistance
  4. Associates have been trained in new Health & Safety efforts and policies

Hygiene:

  1. Hand sanitizer is available at all store entrances and customers and employees must sanitize their hands upon entry
  2. All Associates will wear disposable gloves and masks
  3. Gloves and masks are available for customers upon request
  4. All high touch surfaces, including POS, PIN pads, and phones, will be sanitized after each use
  5. Fitting Rooms will be sanitized after each use
  6. Cash payments will not be accepted for the time being
  7. The Touchless Tap limit for credit cards has been raised to $250
  8. Signage will be present in-store to help outline and offer guidance on all new protocols

In-store Circulation:

  1. Reduced store hours
  2.  Reduced entrances
  3. Greeters will be present to manage flow and advise on mandatory hand sanitization at entry points
  4. Stanchions will be used to support controlled access to stores
  5. Reminders will be present on the floor to indicate 2 metre distance in key areas”
